Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates is a not-for-profit law office offering immigration legal services. At the moment, we are unable to offer any services beyond immigration legal services. We do, however, have an attorney referral list for services outside of the immigration realm.

Fees for LIA’s services are determined based on a client’s household income. Clients living 200 percent or below the Federal Poverty Guideline are eligible for LIA’s lowest fees. From this point, LIA determines fees based on a sliding fee scale. For this reason, we ask clients to bring proof of income (2015 Federal Tax Returns and recent pay stubs for all jobs) to assist our office in determining service fees. Please note, victims of domestic violence, homeless, and asylum seekers are not required to pay a service fee, however, donations are welcome to help LIA continue to offer these services on a pro bono basis.

Specifically, we can assist with the following types of cases:

Family-based petitions and adjustments

Consular processing

Green card renewals

Refugee services

Cuban adjustments

Victim-based relief (VAWA and U-Visa)

Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS)

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
