LIA is a community-based organization that operates and provides services at the community level. Our core legal services, community education, and advocacy programs impact residents of the Ottawa County area, and West Michigan.
We encourage vaccination so that people can continue to care for their families and, as professionals, we know that their immigration status will not be an obstacle and that receiving the vaccine will not affect their immigration journey.

Join us and hear stories shared by community members most affected by immigration and the work of Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates. We will have food, music, activities and a vaccination clinic.

Moderna and Pfizer
For the Moderna shots, you must be 18 years or older to receive your first vaccine. For the Pfizer shot you must be 6 months or older.

Wait at least 5 months after your first COVID-19 Vaccine Series
Adults 18+ should get the RNA COVID-19 Vaccine(Pfizer-BioNTech orModerna) for the first booster in most situations.
Teens 12-17 may only get aPfizer-BioNTech COVID-19vaccine booster
MODERNA
Wait at least 5 months after your first COVID-19Vaccine Series

JANSSEN
Wait at least 2 months after receiving yourJ&J/Janssen COVID-19vaccination.
PFIZER
Adults 50+ need the 2nd Booster Shot
If you are eligible for the2nd booster, wait at least4 months after your 1st booster shot.
The second booster must be an mRNA COVID-19vaccine (Moderna OR Pfizer).
