We value, respect, and honor your privacy and personal information.
We will never sell information about you, ever. We will never share any information about you outside of exceptional circumstances as required by law. This includes your email, phone number, name, IP address, and any personally identifiable metadata.
As a law office, we do not ask for your information unless absolutely necessary.
We hold all of our staff and volunteers to absolute confidentiality in all matters, including training, agreements, and communication. Excerpted from our Confidentiality Agreement:
We will not disclose the confidential information obtained during our time at LIA to anyone, unless required to do so by law.
We will only use LIA’s communications channels for correspondence and documents, all of which are deemed sensitive unless expressly permitted to share outside our secured email and online storage. We do not create electronic or paper copies or duplicates of any materials.
As a nonprofit organization operating in a digital century, we do employ anonymized methods of measuring our outreach, marketing, and communications activities. This information allows us to learn how many potential users interacted with our information.
Such information is used to support our advocacy and outreach efforts, and communicate and activate new supporters. Personally identifiable data is not part of our efforts in this realm.
