What we do

What does LIA do?

We partner with immigrants, refugees, survivors, asylum seekers, and those with limited or no status to determine what remedies they could be eligible for, provide our expertise, and walk alongside them as they traverse the tricky landscape of US immigration policy. LIA has a holistic approach: someone might come in seeking legal services, but we look at them as a whole person; there could be other factors where they need the support of the community a large. We're a phone book - those without status may not feel safe contacting certain offices, so we can be that safe bridge of connecting them to the plethora of services, community support, and non-profits in the region looking to see them thrive.
